The Orphic Hymns is an idea that a friend had a couple of years of ago but we never got it off the ground. She came to me with the idea of producing a 'zine that covered occultism and mythology in metal music. Most likely it will be in print version only but communication can be found here.

Finally, now that I have created a website, the opportunity has arisen to get started on such a project. I place myself as a consultant and assistant to the project leader whom shall (hopefully) introduce herself soon.

The name derives from the Greek legend of Orpheus whom travelled to the underworld in order to save his wife. Fitting for a 'zine about underground (ie lesser known) metal music that also ties in ideas of mythology and folklore.
